Privacy Policy

This explains what Loksewa Plus collects, why, and how it's handled, on both the website and the Android app (they use the same account and the same data).
1. What we collect
- Account info: name, email address, date of birth, and password (or, if you sign in with Google, the profile info Google shares with us — name, email, avatar).
- Study activity: exam attempts, answers, scores, XP, streaks, bookmarks, and mistake history — this is the core of how the app tracks your progress.
- Content you create: study group messages, shared notes, and questions you flag or report.
- Profile photo, if you choose to upload one.
- Basic technical data: device/browser type and IP address, collected automatically for security and to keep the service running (e.g. rate-limiting abuse).
We don't collect payment information — Loksewa Plus doesn't process payments at this time.
2. How we use it
- To run your account, save your progress, and show you your own history and rank.
- To send account-related email (password resets, verification) — we don't send marketing email.
- To keep the leaderboard, study groups, and live rooms working as shared, real-time features.
- To detect abuse (e.g. cheating patterns, spam, unusual import activity) and keep the question bank reliable.
We do not sell your data, and we do not run third-party advertising or ad-tracking on Loksewa Plus.
3. Who we share it with
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the service — they process data on our behalf, under their own security commitments:
- Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and file storage (profile photos).
- Vercel — hosts the website.
- Resend — delivers account emails (verification, password reset).
- Google (and, if you use it, Facebook) — only if you choose to sign in with them, to verify your identity.
We don't share your data with anyone else, except where required by law.
4. Study groups & live rooms
Messages you send in a study group are visible to other members of that group. Your name and avatar are visible to anyone in a live quiz room or on the public leaderboard. Don't share anything in these spaces you wouldn't want other users to see.
5. Your controls
- Edit your profile, change your password, or set up two-factor authentication from Settings.
- Delete your account from Settings at any time — this permanently removes your profile, exam history, XP, and messages. This can't be undone.
- Email sandeshjamkatel68@gmail.com for any data request we haven't built a self-service option for yet.
6. Children's privacy
Loksewa Plus is built for exam candidates and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
7. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed immediately; some anonymized, aggregate statistics (like overall question difficulty stats) may be retained since they no longer identify you.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
